Eden Hazard has expressed the importance of David Luiz in the Chelsea squad following the Brazilian’s much talked about fall-out with manager Antonio Conte. Luiz was dropped from Chelsea’s matchday squad against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge last Sunday with Andreas Christensen taking his place in the starting line-up.
Blues boss Conte claims that the omission of the 30-year-old centre-back was base on tactical decision as the Italian coach has warned Luiz afterwards that he must ‘work hard’ if he’s to have a future at Stamford Bridge
Belgium ace Hazard stressing the importance of having the Brazilian international in and around the dressing room to lighten the mood.
Asked which player was the biggest joker at Chelsea on Soccer AM, he replied: '‘Luiz. The geezer, always smiling, so he’s in a good mood all the time. ‘It’s good to have people like this in the team.'’
Conte's bust-up with Luiz is the latest falling-out between the manager and a star player at Chelsea. He has previously fallen out with Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic, who both left the club.

out-of-favour
defender has been forced to keep up his fitness levels with his club after being left out of Brazil's squad for the friendlies with Japan and England.
Luiz
have
made ten appearances for Chelsea, scoring two goals in all competitions so far.
